Inga Swenson dead at 90. She starred on Benson as Gretchen the cook.
Benson is another TV show that I enjoyed back in the day.

Good place for him.
Just secure the top of the garbage bag and haul him off to the landfill.

I was looking at my YT feed. One channel I have for classic movies is "Chris Johnson". Up today is Side Show (1981), and the young man looked familiar to me. Seen him on lots of shows I liked. So I looked him up. RIP. He passed away in January from overdosing. Another victim of the opiod crisis. Lance Kerwin. duckduckgo.com/?q=Lance+Kerwin&t=ffcm&ia=web

Might have overdosed, but possible that whatever he took was laced with fentynal.

But who knows? Maybe a photoshop? ::dunno:

Just got home from the grocery store. Opened the back door on the truck and a gallon of milk fell out and exploded all over me. Ugh I quit. 😆 I did that with a half gallon of Jack Daniels once. Damn near wept. When I was around 15 we were quite poor. Dad had bought a handle of Black Velvet. And it got dropped in the cast iron kitchen sink breaking of course. The only time I saw a tear in my Dads eye.

A quickie with General Update - Ferry Companies getting twitchy and another Mercedes torched a house. 4mins Why do they put petrol in cars prior to delivery to the garage at it's destination? Where is their common sense? I have dealt with lithium batteries for years as a avid flier of electric RC airplanes. I never store them in my house or garage. I have a steel shed outside I store them in. There is not a chance I would buy an electric car unless I had a steel garage to park it in away from my house. Then I would be freaked out all the time driving it around. The battery technology is just not up to safe standards. Car batteries are like the covid vaccine of cars.

So as some know Grandma, my wife's mother lives with us. She has full on dementia. So we have been stuck here for 5 months, and cannot leave the house. Well one of us at a time can leave for short periods. So we found a care giver who came in last afternoon. She was booked for 4 hours.
On the way to our date destination our windshield was smashed with a big rock. Had a great time. Then on the way home a grass fire was in the freeway and we were delayed for 90 minutes. Our care giver was very up set because she needed to leave. Just a freaking mess. So we ended up having to pay for the care givers next appointment that she missed.
What a fucked up planet!

Hey Everybody It's been a very long, and very sad day. We said goodbye for now to our sweetest girl Tasha. The Vet who came to our house to put her to sleep said it was time, which tearfully we knew. Sobbing I held her as he administered the drug. I kissed her, again and again, telling her how much we loved her, that we would always love her and miss her. The Vet was over a half hour late to arrive and the wait was gruelling emotionally. We will bury her tomorrow, as the ground is too dry to dig, so we are running a sprinkler which will go all night. I am shattered and so sad. We were bonded like none I've ever had. For Tasha... Thanks for being my friend. "I love you more than words could tell."

imo, it isn't the potatoes or any other organic thing that is toxic. What is TOXIC is the GMO and other fake ingredients that are introduced into our systems, which make otherwise healthy food "toxic" to our systems. In other words, it is our bodies that have become toxic. Oxalates and its acid is in some foods and not others. Yesterday, I looked at where the word came from and the root is OXUS from Ancient Greek, interesting that the word is in the book of Revelations 6 times. I have a tree outside my door with berries on it, I know those berries aren't edible.

The other point about the potato is that Europeans didn't eat them until the 16th century. Apparently, they were originally found in Peru.
I'm going do a history of food thread.
Interesting that they put Oxalates in washing up powder.
The Greeks cook their wedge shaped potatoes in Lemon juice, olive oil and a little water in the oven. Lemon juice is a counteract for oxalates.
