Its 20c in the UK, cloudy skies, rain forecast for the weekend and all next week. Not what I call summer in July. However, it was great for the dog's run this morning.

While tropical storm Don wanders in the north Atlantic there is another disturbance coming off of Africa that is not expected to gain strength.
I was going to post pictures but life interfered before I figured it out.

It is hotter than a pop corn stinker here. Can't even keep enough water on the lawn. Currently 104 F.

It's 18c this morning in England, grey clouds, rain forecast for the next week. 15mph winds, 60% humidity. Certainly a reality check for the JOS nutcases.
Wildfires in southern Europe, Greece and La Palma, Canaries have been in the news in recent days.

Here on the 28th parallel, on the edge of the Green Swamp it is 77° (25C) with a high of 93° (34C) and 96% humidity.
In this weather I can only work about 30 minutes at a time outside then I have to take a break out of the sun. It's brutal, it's not a climate emergency, it's summer in Florida.

Whew I just came in from fertilizing some plants. That heat is tough on a old guy. 100 in the shade.

This explains a lot. Well it would if I knew what I was doing.

19c today going to 23c, cloudy with the sun peeking through. 80% humidity, 17mph winds.
After the dog has his run this morning, taking a friends mum out for Sunday lunch at the pub today because she's on her own for a couple of weeks why her daughter is abroad. In August she will be 90 and she looks amazing for her age. She is still driving a Suv and does has much has she can, although she can't walk far. She loves the garden and gardening and has been a keen knitter. She used to knit babies outfits to be sent to Africa.

The weather in the UK is hot one minute and cold the next, it changes quicker than the dice. Quite difficult to dress for it this July. Wore a jacket going out, had to take it off coming home. Windy outside, although now feel like putting on a tee-shirt instead of a sweat shirt. I think I shall just have a snooze and a cuddle up before I take the dog for another walk. Usually go swimming on sunday lunch times, today took an elderly lady out for lunch instead.

Don and a potential storm
Looks like early August could start the nastiness.
