Eliakim, I love you. I have enjoyed your posts since back in the GLP days. We probably should agree to disagree about food and nutrition, etc. I'm not saying it isn't important, because it is. What I am meaning to convey is that there are other factors to consider, such as genetics and environment, alcohol and smoking.
My parents lived to the ripe old age of 96 and 98. Their siblings lived to ages ranging from 86 to 110. Their mothers lived long lives 80+, their fathers died from accidents. My great-great grandfather, who fought and was wounded twice in the American Civil War, was 99 when he passed.
I learned my eating habits from my parents, who learned theirs from their parents, etc. Whatever they ate didn't kill them early.
I don't know if I will live to be 90+, but I have no major health issues at 76. I have lived a good life and I don't stress over food.

I love you too @slow Loris, this isn't personal towards you at all, I know that you live a healthy life. My gran passed over at age 65 with a heart attack, she had suffered since a child and had given up the will to fight on. Her husband followed her a few years after. Dad passed at age 57 with cancer, mum passed over with a stroke at age 72. We think she chose to stop taking her blood pressure tablets. My posting about the danger of overconsumption of plant foods is to due to the heavy push by the media, food stores, vegan and vegetarian influencers that are brainwashing people that plant based diets are healthy for people, when in fact an overconsumption of plant based foods is toxic for the body. Its also the same eco-zealots that are blocking our roads "Just Stop Oil", forcing cars into smaller spaces for their cycle lanes, its the plant based people that are trying to get meat banned, our food stores have rapidly changed, and its important that people are aware of the potential dangers of what they're consuming. Once we know what foods have less oxalates then it is easier for us to create menus that suit our appetites, our pockets, and are less harmful. Maybe I am talking to myself on this particular forum, because this is having a huge impact on the younger generations that have grown up in a takeway society. Yesterday I was listening to Sally talking to some teenagers in London, it was lovely listening to how happy and interested they were. We can't allow the plant based WEF community to take over our societies. However, biblical prophecy does say that children will pass over prior to their parents in this timeline and its not related to genetics. Most recently it was a young man I've known since he was 17, he was in his 40s, brain cancer. I think he was another mobile phone casualty. His mother has outlived him. I did warn his aunt about the prophecy about 15 years ago. Big hugs |
