Didn't see a thread for ailments and natural remedies, so starting one.
What I've learned recently is that castor oil is a miracle worker. I learned this back in the 80s, but didn't keep it in my heart/arsenal. My ex-father-in-law had a huge open sore on his left cheek, and at the time I had a naturopath book that suggested cleaning an open sore with hydrogen peroxide, then applying castor oil. Cover. He followed this advice and within a month or so, the sore was completely gone never to come back.
Most recent re-introduction to castor oil was via a Barbara O'Neal (O'Neill?) on Twitter. Showing how to use a compress. In the comments someone shared that castor oil is good for cataracts, which last visit to the optometrist said were developing. That was 4 years ago and I did nothing.
Well, recently I decided to just put it on my eyelids and under my eyes (no WAY I'm putting it IN my eyes!). I've done this about 4 times. After the 3rd time I noticed a 'floatie' I've had in my left eye for OVER 30 YEARS disappeared completely. And, one that just developed in my right eye a couple years back, seemingly gone.
Maybe next time I up my glasses prescription, I'll find that 'no cataracts' are developing. *fingers crossed*
Share any and all natural heath remedies here.

These are excellent tips. I especially appreciate this kind of post that includes having personal experience with a remedy.
Your FIL's experience makes me wonder if Castor Oil is yet another cancer remedy tptb have kept hidden from us.
I will definitely get some castor oil and try your "on the eyelids and under the eyes" method and maybe it will at the very least lessen the cataract I seem to have.

It's common knowledge amongst opticians that once the eyes get used to "floaties", they don't bother you anymore, in as much, as they cease exist. It really was Edgar Cayce that promoted Castor Oil compresses. Although I don't use a compress, Castor Oil likes and responds to HEAT, which is one of the reasons that people with scalp issues are advised to put on the Castor Oil after a hot bath when the pores are open and then cover with a hot towel. Some people cover their heads with clingfilm to keep the heat in, has most heat goes out of the head and feet. I've used the Castor Oil since the beginning of 2023 for Blepharitis and the hospital tell me that the condition has righted itself, so no operation required. I also use it on my scalp and my skin. I've found that Castor Oil reduces the proliferation of skin that is involved in Psoriasis, creating a huge improvement. It is certainly a very powerful natural remedy. It's great for massage too, it is a very thick oil, and can be diluted with hot coconut oil for such a purpose.

New Zealand and Canada lead the way in restricting these herbs for natural healing. US and the UK not far behind. Why is it always the same countries implementing such draconian laws as they did during covid? They are ALL related directly to the UK.

I've edited the OP to include a short video featuring Barbara O'Neill talking about/demonstrating castor oil compresses. Thanks to the member who mentioned castor oil also being good for skin tags. I'd forgotten to include that in my OP. I've had a small 'thing' on my left hands middle finger close to the knuckle over 30 years. Every now and then when I'm washing my hands in hot water it will begin to burn. That's my clue to get the hydrogen peroxide out and dab it on (which it does foam up on contact) let that dry then apply some castor oil and cover with a band-aid. I'm sure it's some form of skin cancer but doing this renders it dormant for a very long time, until I feel it burn again. Like I noted, I've had this 'thing' for over 30 years. Another thing I read in the comments of the video (in OP) is that your Castor Oil should be 'Hexane' free. I'd already purchased a bottle of organic at Wal-Mart, but gave that to a neighbor and purchased this brand off Amazon.

Cross posting with the C&B. Hannah this is important for you to know due to the Oxalates involved in the degeneration of the eyes and "floaties" are a sign. People are eating oxalates in their food. Remember the sharing about Oxalates? A friend has emailed she has a torn retina and that's an emergency. So my next question was can Oxalates impact on the eyes? Yep British Medical Journal Retinal Oxalosis Deposition of calcium oxalate crystals in the eye, though not common, is possibly not so rare as the small number of published reports would indicate. Most often it is associated with long-standing degenerative change and as such has been described in conjunction with detached retinae www.bjo.bmj.com/content/bjophthalmol/58/6/613.full.pdfOphthalmic manifestations of primary oxalosis www.bjo.bmj.com/content/bjophthalmol/64/10/782.full.pdf

I've been busy harvesting milk thistle seeds. I had two plants pop up, so I watered them with everything else. Between the 2 I'll have at least a quart of seeds. One of them is 7 feet tall. One of the primary and most vital active ingredients in milk thistle is silymarin. It is a collective flavonoid consisting of silybin, silychristin, and silydianin. Silymarin is believed to boast antioxidant properties that may help treat liver problems, cirrhosis, kidney and spleen issues, help with weight loss, help with insulin resistance, and skin rashes. Here are some known benefits of milk thistle...there are many: www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/320362I will be making tincture from the seeds.

My ex had his teeth pulled and there were bleeding issues. The dentist advised to bite down on a tea bag as it has clotting factors. It worked.
My current had "pink eye" and it started on the weekend. A holistic vet recommended boiling tea bags, chilling and then using the drops on dogs for pink eye or other infections due to antimicrobial properties. It got my husband through the weekend without too much discomfort until we could get to a doctor the next week.
