You can register and save your forum name (if you come across a glitch that makes reg not work – or just to avoid the glitch – click General Discussion while still a Guest and then hit Register button Top Right of page) and maybe say hello – but please don’t use it as an alternative to BTF while BTF is still up and running – this is shtf CYA only…
Some things are different on FREEFORUM:
You may have your preferred username rejected with Caps or Other Characters - once registered you can change to what you want in your Profile, display name...
Quote is top right of the post you want to quote…
Reply (New post) is bottom right of the last post in a thread…
Alerts show in a bubble above the relevant area in the Navigation menu…
For a theme/colour scheme change – Profile, edit profile, settings and change the dropdown menu from default to whatever you choose…
Back to forum is a link in the footer below the shoutbox now a button next to reply again…
Some things we’re not trying to change or add as we hope the lights never go out at BTF…
BUT, if we end up In the Refuge for a while we’ll make it as good as possible on a free service...
In the event of this being seriously required I ask all of you to Tag, PM, and/or e-mail those you want to know about it and may not visit often enough to notice this thread…
This IS NOT a migration knowing that the end is imminent as we did before – this is just covering our bases as we can no longer contact Catch and none of us have found how any of us can take over payment for BTF if the payment stops…
Last I heard from Catch was forum payed to about mid 2023 and he’d had surgery on his broken leg following a Bike crash on his Harley…
Unfortunately that’s all I can tell you really about Catch, and we have tried many times/methods to get in contact…
